I want sex that makes my skin crawl with electricity and evokes the feeling that my body is just going to explode. i want to be fearless and daring and to spend nights with my best friends swigging whiskey from bottles and downing tequila shots with lime. i want a perfume that smells like the ocean, and to wear starfish in my hair. i want to be like the women in old films who only use their lips to kiss men and smoke cigarettes. i want a man like nathan scott and to holiday where corona ads are photographed. i want a fishtail plait down to my waist and to wear my husband’s white business shirts when we reluctantly pull ourselves out of bed each morning. i want a pet dolphin living in the wild, that returns home when i whistle and i want peace of mind. i want to make jaws drop in an little black dress with red lipstick. i want a lion in my lounge room and i wish for all those i love to live happy lives, even if i'm not in them.
